The Minishred is the board a kid genuinely starts on. Flex 1, a full wood core and Bataleon's 3BT, which lifts the edges so the board doesn't catch while they are still learning to load their weight.
It falls into a turn almost on its own, so learning is about riding down and having fun rather than getting back up. Five sizes from 85 to 120 cm, enough for two or three growing seasons.
